OMEGA Celebrates 60 Years of James Bond

In honor of 60 years of James Bond, Omega recently showcased their 007 60th Anniversary Seamaster Diver 300M in stainless steel with an exclusive animated caseback.
The celebratory watch pays tribute to the entire James Bond franchise, which has featured several OMEGA timepieces throughout its cinematic history.
From Pierce Brosnan to Daniel Craig to Naomi Harris, these iconic actors have all sported OMEGA watches in their respective roles.
Lindy Hemming, costume designer for the five Bond films from GoldenEye (1995) to Casino Royale (2007), suggested 007 wear a Seamaster watch. She was “convinced that Commander Bond, a naval man, a diver, and a discreet gentleman of the world would wear this watch,” OMEGA reports in a press statement.
As OMEGA delivered over 110,000 Seamaster 300 watches to military personnel during WWII, the 007 60th Anniversary Seamaster Diver 300M is a fitting tribute to the timepiece that Royal Naval Reserve Commander Bond likely would have been issued.
