Frederique Constant’s Classics Worldtimer Manufacture Globetrotter Edition

A watch for made wanderlust

Last month, in honor of the 10th anniversary of their Classics Worldtime Manufacture watch debut, Frederique Constant presented a new version of one of their most popular travel watch releases.

The 2022 version of the famed chronograph, titled the Classics Worldtimer Manufacture Globetrotter Edition, is decorated with a PVD titanium-coated case and a black dial. The watch is sported on sleek, black alligator strap with a folding buckle.

Whereas the original Worldtimer displayed the names of 24 reference cities on its city disc, the updated Globetrotter Edition chronograph displays the 24 cities’ airport codes instead.

With a name like Globetrotter, this travel watch proves itself as the ideal travel companion. The capable chronograph’s three-notch system allows wearers to seamlessly wind the clock, adjust the date, and choose their reference city.

The Globetrotter displays the local time with its central hands and the home time with the mobile flange, and two-disc colors surrounding the globe differentiate day-time zones from night-time zones (dark for the night, white for the day).

As is standard across all Frederique Constant Manufacture Collection timepieces, the Globetrotter is equipped with the FC-718 movement. The movement is enhanced with perlage decoration, viewable through the watch’s sapphire crystal caseback, which is water resistant to 5ATM. Also able to be observed on the caseback is the fine “Frederique Constant Manufacture” engraving.

The Classics Worldtimer Manufacture Globetrotter Edition will be released in a production run of 300 pieces.
