The New Wajer 44

Cruising with connectivity

Intended for families’ summertime fun in the sun, the new Wajer 44 balances comfort, sportiness, and connectivity in one fully equipped day boat package. Measuring 43 feet with an approximately 12-foot beam, the sizeable vessel can carry a maximum of 16 passengers. Her balanced proportions and spacious layout support convenient day boat cruising or overnight accommodations for two.

Inside the Wajer 44, the interior is furnished with a double bed (which transforms into a sitting area with a dining table), a full bathroom (with a shower and toilet), a refrigerator, sink, coffee machine, and ice machine.

Back on deck, a U-shaped outdoor bench works to bring guests together and provide a convivial space for conversation. Both the front and rear of the Wajer 44 have room for lounging, including under the new Bimini top.

The design of the day boat was completed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design with naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architecture. Engineering and building were both completed in-house, by Wajer.

The Netherlands-based boat builder’s Managing Director, Dries Wajer, comments on his company’s new model, “We are proud to welcome the Wajer 44 into the family.” He continues, “The Wajer 44 is not only state-of-the-art in terms of design but also in terms of connectivity. As an owner, you can view all data in the Wajer app and operate your boat remotely, no matter where you are.”

Constructed with user-friendly efficiency in mind, Wajer’s 44 is equipped for smart boating through the Wajer Owners App. This means that owners can connect to their vessels remotely, allowing for in-app operation of the air conditioning and hydraulically operated swim latter. Furthermore, boaters can check on the position of their anchor from a distance.

When boaters are back on board and underway, they can enjoy the fierce power of the 44’s Volvo Penta IPS 500 DG-380HP engines. At full throttle, the Wajer can sprint to 40 knots. Her cruising speed rests at a more relaxed 26 knots.

Looking toward warmer weather, Wajer plans to launch its first 44 models this summer. Already, twenty units of the Wajer 44 have been ordered.
